Leonardi's Pizza Closes after 47 Years of Service to Buffalo

Leonardi's Pizza has been a staple in Buffalo for as long as I can recall. I'm from Rochester but even before moving to Buffalo, I was well aware of Leonardi's Pizza. Leonardi's pepperoni pizza was out of this world if you're a pepperoni pizza lover...I think the greasiness added a special touch of Mmmmmm Mmmmmm Good!!!

Reports quoted Leonardi's owner as saying this:

"It is with a heavy heart to announce that we have closed our business as of Sunday, December 29, 2019," the Facebook post said. "We realize that this may come as a shock, however, after much consideration, our owners, Hector and Anne have decided after 47 years, it was time to hang up the aprons and retire."
