These Wing Spots Are Dion Dawkins Favorite

Living in the 716 comes with certain things that we will surely take for granted. For better or worse, it's part of the Buffalo lifestyle in Western New York.

No matter the time of year, you know for a fact that a majority of the people you run into will always have their snowbrush in their car, no matter the weather or temperature. We're often shocked by how long it takes to get places when we go out of town because we're used to getting just about anywhere in the region in about 15 minutes, no matter what direction you're going.

Of course, it doesn't matter who you run into. We all have strong opinions about who has the best wings and what our favorite wing flavors are. I know I have my favorites, and while I will try other places, I refuse to get knocked off my pedestal.

So it's always good to find out that big-time Buffalo stars also have their favorite spots and flavors, which match yours. That's something we recently learned about the Shnowman himself, Dion Dawkins, as he reviled his favorite wing spots and flavors.

While appearing on the Centered On Buffalo Podcast, hosted by former Buffalo Bill Eric Wood, the Shnowman was asked about his favorite wing spot in the 716. In classic Dion fashion, he responded that as an O-lineman, he doesn't have just one—he then rattled down his list of favorite wing restaurants.

At the end of the conversation, Dion reiterated one of the true blue Buffalo rules of wings: blue cheese only - no ranch. In fact, if you're caught using ranch, you'll likely run out of town.
