Josh Norman, cornerback for the Buffalo Bills has been using his platform to help small businesses here in Buffalo. Josh has already put in $25,000 of his own money and now the "Buffalo Business Blitz" initiative has raised over $90,000 for local businesses right here in our community.

According to WIVB, you can also help the "Buffalo Business Blitz" by joining with Wegmans and ordering from their Meals2go app. Today and Tomorrow, Wegmans will donate 100 percent of the proceeds of the Meals2Go orders placed on the app in Eire and Niagara Counties.

The money raised for the "Buffalo Business Blitz" initiative will help fund grants for local food vendors, restaurants, and other small businesses, here in our community. In my opinion, this is a perfect situation right now, with the success that the Buffalo Bills football team is having on the field there is a lot of energy and excitement in the city right now, so I feel it's great to concentrate some of that excitement on helping local businesses.

The City of Buffalo and my administration continue to find innovative and collaborative ways to help our neighbors, especially during these trying times. The Buffalo Business Blitz is a natural initiative to come out of my administration in partnership with stars24, because of our deep understanding, and connection to, small business owners.
