On Saturday, October 24, 2020, there were multiple fights involving juveniles at the Walden Galleria. According to WKBW, three female teenagers have been charged in connection to those fights. The teens have been charged with a misdemeanor of inciting a riot and one was charged with resisting arrest. The fights started around 6:30PM ET in the food court. Mall security notified Cheektowaga police that there was a group of approximately 30 young people gathering. Thirty minutes later, the group of juveniles had grown to 100, who according to police and mall security, were running through the mall.

The fights broke out around 8PM ET and 8:30PM ET, according to police. There were multiple police departments involved in containing the youths, including the Cheektowaga, Lancaster, Depew, West Seneca, and NFTA police departments. The Walden Galleria is no stranger to fights. It seems like every year there is at least one big brawl at the mall. If you search "Walden Galleria mall fights" on Youtube, there are quite a few videos. I hope this is the last one for the year!
