Monday Morning Coffee Brings Conversation and Community Together

Buffalo, you know I’m always looking for what’s happening around town, especially when it creates an opportunity for us to connect, build relationships and strengthen our community.
For this Town Rundown, we’re talking coffee, conversation and community.
The River Club of Beau Fleuve is hosting its Monday Morning Coffee series, a gathering designed to bring people together for networking, community connection and quick, impactful conversations. And if you know me, you know I’m all about getting in the room, meeting new people and building genuine relationships.

The next Monday Morning Coffee takes place Monday, October 26 at 8:00 AM and will feature a quick coffee chat with Darnell J. Haywood Jr., AVP and CRO of BankOnBuffalo.
Haywood is a banking executive and community leader whose work centers around financial empowerment, equity and creating greater economic opportunity. His appearance gives attendees an opportunity to hear from someone working at the intersection of banking, business and community impact right here in Western New York.

What I also love about this series is that it goes beyond traditional networking. Yes, you can exchange information and make a new connection, but the bigger goal is strengthening social capital and supporting our local community. Sometimes one conversation can lead to a new opportunity, partnership, resource or simply an introduction to someone you needed to know.
That is why I always say: you have to get in the room.
You never know who you’re going to meet, what you’re going to learn or where a conversation may lead. And there’s something about starting your Monday morning surrounded by people who are ready to connect and grow that can set the tone for the entire week.

Monday Morning Coffee is free to RSVP and is supported by Five Star Bank.
So, Go Gettas, grab your coffee, bring your business cards—or make sure that LinkedIn QR code is ready—and get connected.
Because building community happens one conversation at a time.
That’s what’s happening around town, and you already know I’m keeping you connected with the Town Rundown!
