From supporting young entrepreneurs to building professional connections and celebrating Halloween, Buffalo has plenty happening in the weeks ahead.

One thing about Buffalo, there's always something to do, and I love being able to share opportunities that help our community connect, grow, and enjoy everything our town has to offer. This week's Town Rundown highlights three events worth putting on your calendar.

Empower716 Expands Opportunities for Young Entrepreneurs

If you've been sitting on a business idea or looking for the right resources to take your hustle to another level, this opportunity might be for you.

The Empower716 Young Entrepreneurs of Color Initiative is expanding to two locations, giving aspiring entrepreneurs more opportunities to access support and resources.

The program will operate at The Foundry, located at 298 Northampton Street in Buffalo, and Packard Court, located at 4300 Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls.

Applications open October 19, and I encourage young entrepreneurs to explore what the program has to offer.

Say Yes Buffalo Introduces ONWARD Young Professionals Network

Networking matters, but building genuine relationships with people who share your commitment to community makes an even bigger difference.

That's why I'm excited to see Say Yes Buffalo introduce ONWARD, a new young professionals network designed to bring emerging leaders together through networking, leadership development, and community engagement.

The official launch celebration takes place Thursday, November 5, from 5:30 to 8 PM, at 617 Main Street in downtown Buffalo.

The network welcomes young professionals ages 21 to 35 who want to connect, collaborate, and become more involved in shaping Buffalo's future.

The Haunted House Party Takes Over Electric City

Buffalo's Halloween nightlife is about to get real different with  The Haunted House Party, happening Saturday, October 31, at Electric City.

From 8 PM to 1 AM, guests can expect an immersive Halloween experience featuring music from DJ Mr. Illmatic, DJ Kholes, DJ Spin, and DJ Unk.

The night promises elaborate decorations, spooky lighting, specialty cocktails, and plenty of creative costumes.

And listen, costumes are 100% mandatory. No exceptions! This ticket-only event is for adults 21 and older, with 25 and older preferred. A valid physical ID is required.

Whether you're building a business, expanding your professional circle, or making memories with friends, there's something happening for you.

That's what I love about sharing the Town Rundown. It's about making sure our community knows what's available and encouraging people to show up.

That is your Town Rundown.
