Famous Jett Jackson Dead at 29!

Actor Lee Thomson Young, best known for his role as Disney's Famous Jett Jackson was found dead in his apartment this morning (8/19) Details inside.

Lee's manager, Jonathan Baruch, has confirmed that Young's death was a suicide:

It is with great sadness that I announce that Lee Thompson Young tragically took his own life this morning. Lee was more than just a brilliant young actor, he was a wonderful and gentle soul who will be truly missed. We ask that you please respect the privacy of his family and friends at this very difficult time.

According to TMZ the 29 year old actor's body was found lifeless in his LA apartment with what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Producers of Rizzoli & Isles - the sitcom on which Lee Thompson Young played Boston detective Barry Frost - called the actor's landlord to check his apartment when he failed to show up for work.

There is no word yet if the role of Barry Frost will be re-cast, but one thing is for sure, there will never be another Jett Jackson!!!
