Dicks Sporting Goods Destroys $5 Million Worth of Assault Rifles

Kudos to Dick's Sporting Goods for taking a stand against gun violence in America.  Dick's CEO, according to news reports, made a decision to turn  %5 Million worth of assault rifles into scrap metal.

The mass shooting that took place a Parkland, Florida high school was not directly related to anything regarding the shooting, however, the sporting goods chain did sell the shooter a shotgun at one time., according to reports.

Dick's has also decided to stop carrying high-capacity magazines and the store also raised the gun-buying age from 18 to 21.

Maybe other gun store owners will follow suit and take a stand against gun violence in our country.
