Buffalo Police Department Confidential Tip Line Was Full According to Key Double Murder Witness
news report, a key witness in the double murder trial of Kenyatta Austin, accused of killing Yvette Johnson and here Grandson Kyrie, says she could not leave important information that she had regarding the case when she tried to call the Buffalo Police Department Confidential Tip Line.
Captain Jeff Rinaldo of the Buffalo Police Department said this:
"There are times, depending on the nature of the investigation, that that tip line does get full.
The tip line, the phone number tip line is maintained by somebody 24 hours a day seven days a week in the police department," Rinaldo said, "if there is a circumstance where somebody couldn't leave a message it's probably because the phone line was literally blowing up that day."
