With the Spring-like weather expected this weekend across Western New York, area golfers will have to wait to hit the links at two Erie County golf courses.

It has been a rainy snowy April and because of the amount of water that has impacted Western New York, golfers in the area will have to wait past this weekend to play two Erie County courses.

According to a Tweet from the Erie County Parks Department, both Elma Meadows and Grover Cleveland Golf Courses will delay their opening dates until next week because of the weather.

Looking ahead at the weather, we will see sunshine and mid-70s for Sunday, but more rain is expected across the area on Monday. The rain will continue on Wednesday and then it looks like mostly cloudy skies the rest of the week and some sunshine is expected heading into next weekend.

With the possible rain in the forecast for the beginning of the week, the opening dates of the golf courses could be pushed back as well.

You can make tee times online for these courses HERE.
