Aside from The Colored Musicians Club and the Nash House displays, Buffalo's Downtown Central Library also highlights some historic Buffalo-founded organizations and focuses on the African-Americans who were instrumental in establishing those entities, according to a WGRZ News story. 

Clifford Bell, the Buffalo African-American Museum chair, said this according to the News article 

"Michigan Street Baptist Church was an Underground Railroad conduit that has historic significance. The founding of the NAACP was a part of this recognition."
