Who Gets Your Vote?

Supposedly voting is a "CONFIDENTIAL" process such that some people flatly refuse to say who they're voting for...and I don't get it.  It's not necessary for me TO get it...everyone has a right to their own reasoning and opinion...and my opinion is...I DON'T GET IT!

If there are so many people who won't reveal who they're voting for, how do the polls even exist...are they just made up numbers?  I don't think so... I think there are more people who WILL SAY WHO THEY'RE VOTING FOR than there are people who will not.
