When you meet Sharon Strong the last thing you think about her is that she's been through extensive chemo and dealt with Breast Cancer.  This upbeat lady and her contagious attitude and smile are encouraging enough without her having to give back to the community as she has arranged to do tomorrow.

Sharon formed an organization called 'Sadie Strong' with the purpose of being a means and avenue to educating women about the importance of 'Early Breast Cancer Detection'.

Sharon Sanford said this, according to news sources:

"I wanted to be able to give back to women who may be going through the same thing.

Early detection is really key to your survival."

Sharon interviewed with Porshia Ari on our Issues & Views Public Affairs program regarding her testimony regarding her bout with Breast Cancer and the Health & Wellness Community Day.
