Mannnnnn five New York residents who got busted for allegedly conspiring to traffic in more than $70 million worth of counterfeit AirJordans?

The defendants Miyuki Suen, Jian MinHuang, Songhua Qu, Kin LuiChen, and Fangrang Qu – were arrested and charged in Manhattan Federal Court today, according to the office for the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. The squad is accused of importing more than 380,000 pairs of sneakers from China to the states and then slapping the Nike-trademarked logos onto the shoes in New York.

The five defendants in this case allegedly counterfeited over $70 million in fake Nike shoes and sold them to buyers on the U.S. market.

The shoes were discovered in multiple warehouses and storage units as well as a residence connected to the scheme.
