While the world is still in shock from the senseless murder of rapper Nipsey Hussle, he was laid to rest this week but not without incident. During his funeral procession, four people were shot and unfortunately one didn't survive. It's being reported that the suspects involved int he shooting was in a grey Hyundai. Such a tragedy to happen under already tragic circumstances. Otherwise, Nipsey Hussle was most definitely laid to rest in style and with a sold out Staples Center it's clear the impact he had not only in his community but the world.

Whenever something that's considered to be "new" or an untapped genre there may be some backlash initially and this has been the situation with an artist by the name of Lil Nas X and his single "Old Town Road". It was taken of the Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart nearly three weeks ago. Billy Ray Cyrus has since hopped on the remix and it doesn't get more country than that! Although the song was removed from one Billboard, it has found a home at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts joining the ranks of Cardi B to have their 1st song land #1 on the list! Congrats!

Boosie Badazz real name Torrence Hatch has been arrested and charged with two felony charges after a routine traffic stop. Allegedly Boosie was caught with 11 grams of suspected marijuana and a loaded 9mm handgun, as well as a bag containing a "large sum of cash" and a vape pen with what is believed to have THC oil in it. His bodyguard was riding shotgun and apparently wasn't a voice of reason as Boosie sped swerving through traffic almost side-swiping another vehicle which led to him being pulled over. He's now free after posting a $3,500 bond. This isn't his first brush with the law as he was just released off of Parole in 2018! Smh.
