As a black man, as a former player... I think it's best for me to support the players and just not be here tonight. Right now my head is like ready to explode, about the aftermath of Jacob Blake. I can't stop thinking about the incident and surrounding issues.

Kenny Smith who is now 55-years old has won 2 NBA titles in his 10 years in the league. Kenny has become a very valued member of the "Inside the NBA" team, According to TMZ Ernie Johnson said he respects Kenny's decision and they continued on with the show.
