Lockport School District Launches Controversial ‘Facial Recognition System’
As students return to school in the Lockport City School District after the holidays, they are being introduced to a very controversial 'Facial Recognition System' which is designed to keep students and staff safe.
Many parents were in opposition to the new system because it initially captured and kept data records pertaining to all students. That has since been remedied and the District has moved forward with the system which is now online and operable, according to news reports.
