Kanye West Gets Gospel Choir to Sing “Heard ‘Em Say,” “Lift Yourself” and More
Kanye West was in a churchy mood on Sunday (Jan. 6), but instead of going to church, he brought church his way, in the form of a gospel choir.
For a good duration of the morning, 'Ye's wife Kim Kardashian was posting video on her Instagram Story of Kanye leading a decent-sized choir in what looks like a studio. Instead of kicking church hymns, the singers bust out Kanye cuts like "Heard 'Em Say," "Father Stretch My Hands," "Lift Yourself," "Reborn" and more.
It is unclear whether this was actually done for a purpose other than making Kanye's day but he definitely looks like he is having a good time. Providing a small about of insight, Kim put the words "Rehearsal for Sunday Service" on the videos.
She also tweeted about the event posting, "Our new Sunday Service is starting. Check out the rehearsals on my Instagram stories ✨."
At the conclusion she added, "Just hearing music as our Sunday Service was super inspiring. See you next Sunday ✨," which still does not exactly provide enough details on what the new weekly happening is. Has Kanye pulled a Ma$e?
Kanye did not provide any more details via social media. Yeezy has not tweeted since the first day of the year when he shocked some by reestablishing his allegiance to President Trump after claiming he would distance himself from politics.
In other Kanye-related news, it was recently revealed that the rapper and his wife are expecting their fourth child.
