Jermaine Dupri Inducted Into The Songwriter’s Hall Of Fame
Jermaine Dupri who has been named as one of the inductees for the 2018 Songwriter’s Hall of Fame. His induction will come one year after Jay-Z became the first rapper to ever be inducted into the hall of fame.
Songwriters become eligible to be inducted after they have been writing songs for at least 20 years. Jermaine Dupri launched his So So Def record label back in 1993, launching the career of many artists and setting tone for the music scene both inside and outside of Atlanta.
Throughout the years, he’s been racking up both songwriting and producing credit as he worked with some of music biggest stars including Mariah Carey, Usher, Xscape and Monica just to name a few.
