Back in 1991, I was one of the main DJ's at the most popular teenage dance clubs in Buffalo New York, actually, to set the record straight, The IPE, wasn't a club. The IPE was a bingo hall that Marc L Fuller turned into the hottest party spot on the east side of Buffalo for over 10 years.

In the 90s, no matter where you partied, it was all about the dance moves. I can remember some of the battles in the middle of the dance floor. The girls and the boys putting on some "Dope Moves" and the crowd would judge. Every dance had a name, "The Bart Simpson" remember that? or " The Running Man," "The Reebok," and the list just goes on.

Do you remember when Montell Jordan, "This Is How We Do It" came on? the way you reacted when you heard that song or Bell Bev DeVoe, "Poison"? The dance move you did said a lot about you and what you were getting into later on that night. I can't wait until things get back to normal, it's gonna be really nice to bring back some of those moves from the 90s, one thing is for sure, at least I'll have plenty of time to practice them.
