Buffalo Pharmacy Is Making Its Own Hand Sanitizer
A local pharmacy is determined to help the Buffalo community by taking on the task of making its own Hand Snairizer...an item that's almost impossible to find in stores.
According to a WKBK news report, Brighton Eggert Pharmacy in the Town of Tonawanda is stocking their shelves every hour with hand sanitizer they're making in their own compound laboratory.
Pharmacy Manager Susan Artur her concern for her regular customer many of whom are elderly, per the WKBW report:
"My regular customers are elderly and for the past two weeks, they've been walking in and walking out empty-handed," Susan said. "So for that reason alone, we're very happy we can make it for them."
The Pharmacy has made 2000 bottles currently while working ten-hour days, according to the KBW report. The hand sanitizer solution Brighton Eggert Pharmacy makes consists of isopropyl alcohol, glycerin, and small amounts of hydrogen peroxide and purified water, according to the report, which also states that the hand sanitizer solution can also be found at Black Rock Pharmacy in Buffalo, according to WKBW's report.
