An Erie County, Former Deputy, and Wife, Arrested for Alleged Prostitution Ring

If the allegations are true, why would someone who is purposely breaking the law, want to be an enforcer of the law?  People with the weird mindset such that they are above the law, or something, are mistaken.

This is a situation, according to news stories, such that a Former Erie County Deputy, Wallace Waliczek, was soliciting (pimping) his own wife, Melissa Waliczek, and it seems she was allegedly down with the program.  What were they thinking?  That is ... if it's true.  The truth seems evident however since the Former Deputy's wife met with an undercover officer who was responding to this ad, according to the news story:
