The boxer and "protege" of Floyd Mayweather, Adrien Broner, was detained in Las Vegas in a club misunderstanding.

Broner was in Vegas (Like most of the country) for the big fight between his mentor Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. Broner paid $11K at the door for a table at Vegas' Tao Nightclub. The promoter took the money and allowed Broner and his crew inside.

Being in violation of the party's dress code, he and his crew was stopped by security for his clothes once inside and asked them to leave. The guard says that the baggy pants and the shoes were the deal breakers and Broner pleaded that everyone else was dressed the same way in the club for "Hip Hop Night". He even referenced the fact that Fabolous would be performing and surely his group is under dressed.

Broner refused to leave and the guard called the police to remove him and his crew. Police detained Broner for nearly 20 minutes, taking him to a room before releasing him.
