It's needless to say that 'hair' is probably one of every woman's most challenging aspects of life to maintain.  Many women are so obsessed with their hair, that it's a major part of her monthly budget...as important as a mortgage, car note, or insurance payment.

African-American women take hair-care and hairstyling to a different level.  In an article that appeared on the hypehair.com website on February 26, 2018, ,  wrote this:

While Blacks outspend on everything from water to cookware, our beauty buying habits continue to top the charts. We spend nearly nine times more than our non-Black counterparts on ethnic hair and beauty products. Add in $473 million in total hair care, $127 million grooming aids and $465 million in skin care preparations and we spend a whopping $1.1 billion on beauty annually.
