NY School Using An Innovative Device to Protect Kids Against the Flu
There is no immediate cure for the flu. That's an unfortunate reality because the flu can literally be deadly. The Syracuse School District has implemented the use of an unusually innovative device aimed at protecting kids from contracting the flu.
According to the Centers for Disease Control's (CDC) website,
CDC estimates that since 2010, flu-related hospitalizations among children younger than 5 years old have ranged from 7,000 to 26,000 in the United States. While relatively rare, some children die from flu each year.
Influenza is especially dangerous for children under 5 and even more dangerous for children under the age of 2, according to the CDC, with some dying. Follow the link below for symptoms and signs of flu in your children as well as information as to what you should do.
