According to The Old Farmer's Almanac's website, Western New York is in the area that is expected to be more wet than white. That means we could see above averages amount of rainfall while also getting average or below-average amounts of snowfall.

They are also predicting a warmer Winter with temperatures above average for much of the country including here in Western New York.

Last year Buffalo received 69.2 inches of snow, which was nearly 25 inches below the average yearly snowfall. The record for yearly snowfall was set back in the 1976-1977 Winter season when Buffalo received almost 200 inches of snow during the Blizzard of '77.

Also, it looks like our neighbors to the North will get hit with plenty of snow. But because of the winds and weather systems, that snow will stay North of Western New York and end up in more in the Northeastern part of the country. Perfect for lots of snow during the Patriots home games!
