Should Nike have Pulled Their Betsy Ross Flag Sneaker After Colin Kaepernick Complained?

How anyone can defend the new controversial Nike Sneaker design with an image of the Betsy Ross version of the American Flag is, in my opinion, exposing themselves as possibly Racist.  I say 'possibly' because they may not be aware of the fact that the Betsy Ross flag has been infamously used by White Supremacists, the KKK, and Nazis (more info in the video  below).

I can tell you that I didn't know.  However, Colin Kaepernick knew and spoke up about it.  Kaepernick was in opposition to the sneaker being rereleased for sale because of the image being tied to Racism.  Well, Nike listened and agreed to pull the sneaker, which was met with differing opinions.
