Watch: 'Karen' In Buffalo NY Goes Viral For Racist Remark

A lot of racists are getting more and more comfortable spewing hate. It seems that the current political climate has brought all the racist low-lifes out from under their rocks. It has never been and will never be acceptable to hate someone based solely on their skin color. Unfortunately, the racist rhetoric in New York is getting louder and louder. There are certain political groups that seem to thrive off racism, and their followers are emboldened to openly harass and assault people of different races.

Buffalo is one of the most segregated cities in America, which is crazy because this was the Union. On top of that, this was an important stop on the Underground Railroad, which helped slaves and former slaves escape to freedom. I'm honestly surprised when I see a racist video go viral out of Buffalo. Most of the people I've met in my 10 years here have been lovely and friendly. But recently, I have seen a few videos featuring racists in Western New York. I'll never understand what makes someone hate a whole group of people based solely on the hue of their skin.

A woman was caught on camera allegedly making a racist statement in a supermarket checkout. In the video, which is from Reddit, the woman allegedly says, "Nobody would let their kid date a brown dude…" It's crazy that anyone would be OK saying something like that to another human being.
