A Buffalo fire truck was responding to a two-alarm fire when they hit the side of a school bus in the City of Buffalo on Tuesday morning.

Shortly after 7 am, first responders were called to respond to the scene of the accident.

The accident involved a fire truck and a school bus near the corner of North Ogden Street and East Lovejoy Street in Buffalo. The scene quickly became a two-alarm fire of its own, but the first responders were able to control the fire around 7:45 am. As a result of the accident, the school bus had flipped on its side, leaving some people trapped inside the bus.

It is unclear what caused the fire.

As of right now, two people have been injured as a result of the crash: the school bus driver and the bus aide.

No children were on the bus at the time of the crash.

The seriousness of the injuries to the bus driver and the bus aide have not yet been specified, but first responders are still working on the scene of the accident to get these individuals the treatment that they need.
