Life After Loss: Buffalo Hosts Motherless Daughters Brunch
There are some rooms you walk into that change you. This is one of them. The Motherless Daughters Brunch is not just an event to me; it’s something I’ve experienced from multiple sides. I’ve sat on the panel. I’ve held the mic as a host. I’ve helped guide the conversation. But this year…I’m coming back differently. This year, I’m just a daughter.
A daughter who knows what it feels like to move through life without her mother. A daughter who understands that losing your mom doesn’t just change your circumstances… it changes your DNA. It shifts how you see the world, how you move, how you love, and how you carry yourself.
And if I’m being real, moments like Mother’s Day can be some of the hardest. It’s everywhere. The reminders. The celebrations. The posts. The love that you’re grateful for… but also grieving. That’s why this space matters.
Hosted by For Grieving Daughters in partnership with Brand Hive Buffalo, this experience is centered around this year’s theme: “Life After Death: Therapy Talk.” It creates room for real conversations, honest reflection, and the kind of healing that happens when you’re surrounded by people who truly understand.
The brunch will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at 731 Main Street in Buffalo, NY. And what makes this event so powerful is simple: the women in the room share something deeply personal. For the most part, we are all living life without our mothers. And in that shared experience, there is comfort, there is understanding, and there is strength.
So whether you’ve attended before or this would be your first time, I can tell you this from experience…This is one of those spaces that meets you exactly where you are. And sometimes, that’s exactly what you need. You can secure your spot at www.forgrievingdaughters.com.
