Roswell & UB Collaborate to Offer Clinical COVID-19 Drug Trial
This is very exciting news to pass along to you. Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and the University of Buffalo have collaborated to develop and offer a drug that will specifically benefit persons who are critically ill with COVID-19. This breakthrough could ease the need for ventilators as this drug is hopeful in that it will help save the lives of patients who are suffering to the point that they cannot breathe due to complications related to COVID-19.

Clinical trial will assess effectiveness of the antibody sarilumab (Kevzara)
Part of large international COVID-19 trial sponsored by Regeneron and Sanofi
Researchers pursuing additional clinical trials with other COVID-19 therapies
Please note and understand that this clinical trial is reserved for COVID-19 patients who are in jeopardy of dying from COVID-19
