ReddRoxx Recipes: Greek Chicken Souvlaki Salad & Tzatziki
Here's an amazing Greek Souvlaki Salad recipe for you to try! Greek Souvlaki Salads are most definitely a Buffalo, NY staple and is hands down one of the most flavorful and filling salads you'll ever eat! You can even subtract the pita and easily make it low-carb too. The secret to a great souvlaki salad is in the marinated chicken breast, a great quality Feta cheese, banging dressing, freshly made Tzatziki sauce. Marinated Chicken
- Chicken Breast Sliced into Tenders
- Freshly minced Thyme, Rosemary & Oregano
- Kosher or Sea Salt
- Onion Powder
- Garlic Powder
- Freshly Squeezed Lemon
- Black Pepper
- Paprika
- Red Wine Vinegar
- Olive Oil
- Minced Garlic
- Plain Greek Yogurt
Mix all ingredients, place chicken in zip lock bag or bowl and pour over top, Marinate for minutes to an hour (the longer the better)
Greek Dressing:
- Olive Oil
- Red Wine Vinegar
- Freshly minced Thyme, Rosemary & Oregano
- Minced Garlic
- Onion Powder
- Garlic Powder
- Black Pepper
- Kosher or Sea salt
- Dijon Mustard
Mix ingredients and set aside.
Tzatziki Sauce
- Cucumber
- Olive Oil
- Minced Garlic
- Plain Greek Yogurt
- Freshly Squeezed Lemon
- Dill Paste
- Kosher or Sea salt
Blend ingredients together in blender. Mix with additional plain Greek yogurt, mix in grated unpeeled cucumber.
Plate Romain Lettuce, add diced tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion and green peppers. Sprinkle desired amount of fresh feta on top. Plate chicken, pour dressing over your salad and enjoy!
