According to TheChallengerNews, the President and CEO of the Community Action Organization have finally decided to retire. I say finally because, like many Buffalonians, I have been listening to L. Nathan Hare for well over 10 years.

Mr. Hare is the most humble, caring, and, hard-working man in his position that I've ever met.   He has served the anti-poverty agency for 18 years, According to TheChallegerNews, he is credited with developing the CAO into one of the largest social service agencies in the area and of the nation's most successful community action programs.

According to TheChallengerNews Judge Craig Hannah said,

Nate as led the agency to tremendous financial success, with over 800 employees, and serving nearly 50,000 individuals each year. Nate is a true servant leader, activist, and anti-poverty leader in our community. He will be truly missed.

L. Nathan Hare has a popular show on this station "living Now" with Nate Hare and also on WUFO-AM radio and Spectrum Cable news, as well as other radio programs.

According to TheChallengerNews, the CAO's board led by Judge Craig D Hannah will have a national search for Mr. Hare's successor, until that time he will continue to hold down that post.
