Buffalo has seen an increase of shootings, many fatal, this summer. Some of them have been linked to gang violence, others are still unsolved. One thing I have observed while living in Buffalo for the past five years is that when the temperatures rise, so do the shootings. I remember there were lots of shootings last year and the year before.
