According to reports, the deadliest mass shooting this country has ever seen, at a primary or secondary school in U.S., happened on December 14, 2012, in Newtown, Connecticut (population of 27,560) at Sandy Hook School.  Reportedly, a 20-year-old, named Adam Lanza, shot and killed 26 people, 20 of whom were children between six and seven years old. and also six adult staff members.
