New Zion Baptist Church Has A Small Outbreak Of COVID-19 Cases

According to WIVB, there will be new testing done in Buffalo by the Erie County Health Department. There will be a one-day testing site set up this Friday. Fears of the virus spreading any further is the reason for the Erie County Health Department taking extra percussion.

New York State has been on the right track with the lowest number of new cases of COVID-19 than any other state in the U.S. According to WIVB, Dr. Gale Burstein said.

The county's contact tracers  have found a small cluster of positive cases from the New Zion Baptist Church in Buffalo.

There were only a few people that tested positive for the virus, less than 10, According to WIVB, after going to church, anyone that has attended New Zion Baptist Church recently is being asked to be tested. The test site will be in the parking lot of the church on High Street between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. this Friday.

Remember to wear a mask while attending church services, and if possible maintain social distance. I know this can be hard to do sometimes at church, it is common to see a friend, and your natural reaction is to hug him or her in most cases, or at least shake hands.

I feel that places of worship are extremely important, we just have to remember to be careful of ourselves and others.
