Ne-Yo And Akon Bring Nostalgia To Buffalo This Summer

Get ready to turn up this summer with Ne-Yo and Akon. The two global superstars are coming to the Buffalo-area. They recently announced their 'Nights Like This' tour! Are you ready to take it back to the mid-2000s? Not only are they both global artists, they are also both behind many platinum hits from other artists.

Ne-Yo was recently in Buffalo with Mary J. Blige. Just like many big names in entertainment, they always find a way to come back to the 716. I'm convinced that we are among the best places to perform, period. Speaking of a show...Akon's DJ, Benny D, fell on the stage while 'Kon was performing at the University at Buffalo back in 08 (the video is blurry, but you can still see the action).

Tickets for the dual-headliner show will take place this summer at Darien Lake. Th tour, produced by Live Nation, will make a stop at Darien Lake Amphitheater on Friday, July 24, 2026. This is a part of their 57-city tour.

If you grew up during the mid-2000 era, this tour is definitely a must. I know the young folks move on from artists pretty quickly nowadays, but we had certified hitmakers back then. By the way, both Akon and Ne-Yo are GRAMMY winners.
