More Than 100,000 New Yorkers Could Lose SNAP Benefits

According to a Spectrum News article, the Trump administration has introduced a ruling such that SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) recipients would have to work to receive SNAP benefits.

Sherry Tomasky, the director of communications for Hunger Solutions New York. has this advice for SNAP recipients, according to the Spectrum News article

"So the most important thing for people who receive SNAP should know is that they should keep in touch with their county caseworker and understand exactly what they're required to do"
