Keeping The Peace 40 Days since Buffalo’s Last Homicide

According to Buffalo News, it has been forty days since the city's last homicide. This is the longest stretch with no killings in 2017.

Buffalo, New York ranked number ten on the Forbes list for most dangerous U.S. cities. We've had 34 homicides total this year and we are below average which is usually around 51 homicides.

Unfortunately the last killing was August 6 on Victoria Avenue. I'm proud of my city. Considering how dangerous it can be this is an accomplishment. Keep up the good work.
