Michelle Visa fell in love with music at an early age. Her father had a massive record collection and was a bodyguard for Rick James. He often brought her to the studio and recording sessions. As far as she can remember she has always been involved in music and hip hop culture. As a teen, Visa created Phat Magazine where she would interview local artists and write it up in her self made editorial. Visa even began making mixtapes by recording songs off the radio and giving them out to her friends. She was also lead in a all girls rap group called the Troublemakers. Over the years, Michelle performed in numerous cities throughout the country, but wanted to do something more positive with her voice. She became an intern at WBLK in the promotions department and when it ended she decided to apply for an on air position. Michelle has a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a concentration in journalism. You can listen to Michelle on the Visa Report giving you your daily dose of entertainment news Monday-Friday 11:30am, 1:30pm, 6:30pm, and 10:30pm. She is also launching Teen Talk on wblk.com a podcast where young people can voice their opinions on important social matters. Visa Approved!
