Community: Buffalo Police Department Commissioner to hold community meeting day
Buffalo Police Department Commissioner Lockwood is moving his Police HQ Office to a vacant lot to take meetings with the community! Get the details!
BPD Commissioner Lockwood is moving his Police HQ Office to a vacant lot at 580 Goodyear St. for the entire day! Any meetings he has and anyone who wants to make an appointment to talk to him will do it under a tent in that vacant lot. His words are "If the Governor wants to see me he's coming to Goodyear St.!" He is also encouraging the community to come out and talk to him about their needs, concerns, compliments and complaints. BPD will also be serving lunch to anyone who comes by. Power 93.7 WBLK's Yasmin Young will be on-site from 10 am to noon with giveaways!
Come out and make your voice heard on Tuesday, August 28th! The event will be from 8:30 AM to about 4:30 PM. They will be grilling hot-dogs and hamburgers for the community at lunchtime.
