Reward offered For Information on shootings in Buffalo, New York

The Buffalo Police have teamed up with Crimestoppers to offer a reward for information leading to the arrest of the man they claim organized the 4th of July street party where several people were shot.

Crimestoppers Offering Up To $2500 For Information

Crimestoppers is reaching out to the community for information on the whereabouts of Daevon Alexander. According to the post on the Crimestoppers website, Daevon Alexander is wanted by the Buffalo Police Gun Violence Unit for his connection to several shootings that happened at a street party over the 4th of July weekend.

If you have information on his whereabouts, you are asked to contact Crimestoppers at 716-867-6161, or you can contact them online HERE.

To be eligible to receive a reward, all tips must be submitted to Crime Stoppers WNY over the phone, through the website, or through the "Buffalo Tips" app.

Crime Stoppers is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) public service organization that assists all law enforcement agencies throughout the eight Western New York counties. Citizens are encouraged to come forward anonymously with information regarding the wanted persons.

Police Have Set Up Automatic Speed Cameras In WNY

If you are driving around the 716 this week, you should mind your speed. The New York State Police and DOT have several automatic speed cameras set up that could issue fines automatically if you are caught speeding.

This week the cameras are located on the 198 between the 33 and the 190 and along the 990 between N. French Road and Campbell Blvd. If you are caught going 11 miles per hour or more over the posted speed limit, you could get a fine in the mail.
