Buffalo Police Called to Shooting on Buffalo’s East Side

The Buffalo Police Department blocked off a street near Schiller Park on Buffalo's East Side to deal with a shooting that happened early in this morning.

A 25-year-old man was shot in a room at a home on Eller Avenue around 12:30 a.m. The man was taken to Erie County Medical Center, and the gunshot wounds appear to be non-life threatening.

A neighborhood block captain reported the incident, and the investigation is on going. Police believe the victim was targeted and it wasn't a random attack.
