Why do there continue to be shootings in the inner city ... a phrase you hardly hear anymore, however, the reality is that the Inner-City is still real.  I use that term in comparison to the "suburbs"...another phrase that has disappeared.  Inner-City has been replaced with the label "Community", while the suburbs are referred to now by only their specific, identifiable, and prestigious sounding names...or separately deemed a part of Erie County rather than "The City of Buffalo".

It's far beyond a coincidence that there are far more shootings and there is far more gun violence in the Inner-City than there is in the "suburbs"...but why?  The million dollar question.
