Congratulations Rihanna! The pop princess landed the cover of VOGUE's coveted 2015 Met Gala issue, documenting this year's theme China: Through The Look Glass. With all the barely there, see through gowns, I personally enjoyed Ri Ri's China Couture.

VOGUE Editor in Chief Anna Wintour sealed her approval.

'I really want to tell you about this dress. Because Rihanna is such a star. She surfed the internet looking for this, and this was designed by a famous, famous Chinese designer Guo Pei. It apparently took one Chinese person two years to make this dress.'

In fact, designer Guo Pei revealed that it took 50,000 hours to create Rihanna's “Magnificent Gold” dress.

“The focus and the attention paid to this dress will make it remembered by the world—[what] I want is to make them remember…. It is my responsibility to let the world know China’s tradition and past, and to give the splendor of China a new expression. I hope that people do know China in this way.

Sorry Beyonce!
