Buffalo Born Westside Gunn Set To Release An Exclusive Sneaker

For the last few years, Buffalo, New York, has been making quite a bit of noise on the hip-hop scene. Several people from the 716 have been part of a revival in East Coast rap. Conway The Machine, Benny the Butcher, and Westside Gunn have been leading the way in the genre while receiving accolades from far and wide.

While that recognition from hip-hop is well deserved, it's not the only thing that folks from the 716 are being praised for. This is especially true for WSG, whose fashion sense and style have been turning heads for years.

You don't need to look any further than the inroads Gunn's Fashion Rebels brand has made worldwide. In fact, Westside Gunn, born Alvin Lamar Worthy, has been recognized and honored by some of the biggest names in fashion for his ability to craft great-looking styles.

According to Forbes Magazine, The Super Flygod does an amazing job cultivating a level of brand loyalty that isn't often seen in today's fast-fashion throwaway clothing culture. This is in addition to the work that Gunn has done with Virgil Abloh.

That vision has proven itself again as Westside Gunn and Saucony have recently announced a partnership that will bring us the release of an exclusive sneaker designed by WSG.

The preview of the designs, displayed on Gunn's Instagram, gives us a glimpse of a Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 and a Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4 in bright blue, Yellow, and Orange, Red colorways.

The new WSG x Saucony colab shoes are set to drop in early 2025 to what is all but assured to be much fanfare.
