Two Big Winning Lottery Tickets Sold In Buffalo
I always use to say, no one locally ever wins the lottery, well, at least that I know of. According to WIVB, two top prize-winning Take 5 tickets were sold in Buffalo.
The winning tickets were purchased at the Corner Store located at 380 Connecticut Street, on the west side of Buffalo, and the Delta Sonic at 2590 Delaware Ave, in Buffalo. The lucky winners cashed in on over $ 15,000.00.
Just recently the New York Lottery has changed the times for when people can play, giving players more opportunity to get those last-minute lucky numbers in. The new times are as follows, midday numbers drawing will now be at 2:20 p.m. daily instead of 12:20 p.m., the evening numbers drawing will be at 10:30 p.m. daily instead of 7:30 p.m.
In my opinion, the time change will help in many ways, I use to hear many of my friends say, "darn it, I missed my numbers today" well, now with the time change, people will have more time to get those numbers in after work or if they just happen to forget during the day. I also think the more time people have to play, that's more revenue, that the state can cash in on to help with the budget.
