13 Year-Old Kansas Girl Arrested and Charged with a Felony for THIS?

Many people will see this story and be appalled as a 13-year-old Kansas girl was charged with a felony for  .... well instead of telling you, watch this news report

Well after watching the news coverage of the story, the decision to arrest and charge the girl with a felony was reportedly not related to anything the school did...in other words, the school did not have anything to do with the student being charged.

One of the reasons the girl got herself mixed in trouble is seemingly her 'mouth'.  This is what the Grandfather said, according to reports:

"She was just mouthing off," he said. "I'm really worried about my granddaughter’s future."       

An Overland Park Police Officer also added this, according to reports:

"Too often there are reports of violence in schools and inevitably questions about what could or should have been done to prevent the tragedy. Threats in schools are taken very seriously and treated appropriately," police said in the release.
