800 African American Students Earn Scholarships

Finally something positive to talk about and be proud of in the black community as 800 high school students receive scholarships. Over one hundred and sixty thousand students entered the scholarship program, but only 800 were selected. Even the mere fact that so many students entered for an opportunity to receive a scholarship should also be commended!
