Soulja Boy Turned His Swag On In Buffalo [PICS]

Even though Sunday, September 22, 2024, is the official first day of fall, Buffalo was filled with 80-degree temperatures and nothing but sunshine, which presented the perfect backdrop for another great show for the 2024 summer concert season in Western New York.

If you've been paying attention to all the shows, events, and concerts that have hit Western New York and Southern Ontario this year, then you should agree that this is simply one of the best concert seasons we've seen in a very long time. From as soon as 2024 started, we've seen world-class shows in just about every genre come through the region, leaving us entertained.

Just in case you need a reminder of the great shows we've seen this year, so far, we've had Drake and J.Cole, Shaboozey, Robin Thicke, Musiq Soulchild, Silk, French Montana, Mya, Xscape, SWV, Total, 702, Rob Base, Vanilla Ice, Young MC, Big Boi, T.I., TLC, Digital Underground, Tone Loc, The Ying Yang Twins, Pitbull, T-Pain, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Fat Joe, Diana Ross, Ice Cube, Flo Rida, Janet Jackson, Lionel Richie, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Bell Biv DeVoe, and Jodeci all hit the region - and that's to name a few.

Another great show hit the town Sunday night, and hundreds of Western New Yorkers and Southern Ontarians Cranked That for hours in downtown Buffalo.

Big Draco, who is in the middle of a 30-city tour, hit the streets of the 716 when his SODMG tour pulled into Buffalo. Soulja and the crew were performing in front of a packed crowd inside downtown Buffalo's Electric City.

The show kicked off at 8p with an opening performance by Don Diesel, who warmed the crowd up nicely before Buffalo-born IMYOUNGWORLD hit the stage. IMYOUNGWORLD, a member of the Benny The Butcher-led Black Soprano Family collective, has been touring with Soulja Boy and ran through several songs that had the crowd moving.

Once IMYOUNGWORLD finished his set, Quality Control DJ Lil Mark hit the stage and hyped the crowd up while mixing several of the top hip-hop tracks and several pop records with hundreds of people singing along for more than 45 minutes. SODMG Baby Doll also hit the stage with DJ Lil Mark and performed several songs before Lil Mark took over again to bring Soulja Boy out.

Once Big Draco hit the stage, the crowd went wild as he ran through his catalog of chart-topping songs. With hits like Kiss Me Thru The Phone, Crank That (Soulja Boy), Turn My Swag On, She Make It Clap, Donk, Yahhh!, and more, Soulja had the crowd swaying back and forth all night long.

Once the show was over, Soulja Boy stayed behind on stage for an exclusive after-party and meet-and-greet event for fans, which numerous people stuck behind to be part of.
